intelligent choice for everyday automation

SIPLUS Controllers are a wise choice for routine automation tasks in challenging environmental circumstances. They complete your assignment in harsh environmental circumstances as well.

The right solution for every application

Basic controllers

Since the Basic Controllers offer comprehensive features, integrated IOs, and a particularly space-saving design, they are the best option for automation activities in a standard and error-proof execution.

The extreme SIPLUS variations are specifically intended for extremely demanding environmental circumstances. They have notable benefits and are distinguished by their unique refining:

  • Protection from medial impact (aggressive chemical, biological and mechanically active gases and salt mist) and condensation
  • High reliability across an extended temperature range in the start-up phase as well as during operation
  • Saving costs, since no additional heating or cooling is required
  • High productivity and investment protection through minimal downtimes and performance losses
  • Altitude up to 5000 meters

SIPLUS extreme S7-1200

One benefit of saleable automation solutions is their perfect flexibility to individual needs, which results in lower costs and resource usage.

In addition to the features of the Basic Controller, which include decentralized and integrated IOs, PROFINET programming interface, and three distinct variations, the following benefits can be offered:

  • Variant 1: conformal coating version for use in corrosive surroundings
  • Variant 2: additional enlarged negative temperature range up to -40 °C (in operation)
  • Variant 3: additional through the equipment of the self-service mounting slots with a cooling element for the extended use up to +70°C

Advanced controllers

Siemens’ Advanced Controllers are the best option for intricate automation jobs. Due to their great system performance, they can also be used for huge systems that include several components or entire plants.

High efficiency is attained as a result of the TIA-Portal’s seamless integration, preparing factories for quickly evolving markets, shorter product life cycles, and growing pressure on costs and competition.

When exceptionally demanding environments render the standard inadequate, the SIPLUS extreme Advances Controller’s refinement offers the following benefits:

  • Protection from medial impact (aggressive chemical, biological and mechanically active gases and salt mist) and condensation
  • High reliability across an extended temperature range (-40 to 70°C), in the start-up phase as well as during operation
  • Saving costs, since no additional heating or cooling is required
  • High productivity and investment protection through minimal downtimes and performance losses
  • Altitude up to 5000 meters

SIPLUS extreme S7-1500

The SIPLUS extreme S7-1500 variation, the largest model among the Advanced Controllers, is the go-to instrument, especially for difficult jobs.
The refined CPU rows 1511, 1512, and 1516, along with the top-tier model 1518, can withstand temperatures as high as 70°C and fulfil even the most demanding requirements. This is made possible by specially designed cooling components.

With its high system performance and freedom from scaling, the SIPLUS extreme S7-1500 provides the ideal controlling solution for both standalone machines and entire plants. This ensures that there will be sufficient system resources for progressively difficult jobs in the future.

Three levels of refinement are offered for SIPLUS extreme S7-1500 CPUs:

  • Variant 1: conformal coating version for use in corrosive surroundings
  • Variant 2: additional enlarged negative temperature range up to -40 °C (in operation)
  • Variant 3: additional through the equipment of the self-service mounting slots with a cooling element for the extended use up to +70°C

SIPLUS extreme S7-300

The SIMATIC S7-300 is specifically made for system solutions needed in the automotive and oil and gas sectors.

The wide variety of components can be applied to the development of decentralized structures or task-specific expansions of central structures. They make a spare inventory more affordable.

Owing to its conformal coating, the SIPLUS extreme S7-300 is capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C, thus meeting the requirements of EN50155.

Production and process technology, as well as system solutions, are applications for SIPLUS extreme S7-400.

It also satisfies the need to observe deterministic reaction times, making it especially appropriate for activities involving large volumes of data.

Distributed Controllers

SIPLUS Extreme Distributed Controller for distributed architecture and series machines with limited available space

Compact and flexible, the ET 200 components are appropriate for medium power standard and failsafe applications with decentralized architecture and low space series machines.

SIPLUS extreme ET 200SP CPUs

Numerous functions of the SIPLUS extreme S7-1500 products are also present in the SIPLUS extreme ET 200SP CPUs with PROFINET. These comprise, among other things, the web server, integrated safety, integrated trace function, system diagnostics, and full symbolic programming. It comes in two versions depending on the specifications and has three Ethernet connections (two as bus adapters) for a wide range of connection choices.

  • Conformal coating version with temperature extension from -25°C to 60°C
  • Fail-safe version with conformal coting and temperature extension from -25°C to 60°C

SIPLUS extreme ET 200S CPUs

The interface modules featuring an integrated CPU have the capability to function as stand-alone units or as part of medium-sized programme distributed automation solutions. They allow for distributed preparation of the production data and are compatible with a S7-300 CPU. Depending on the version, MPI/PROFIBUS and/or PROFINET can be used for communication.
The clever SIPLUS interface modules IM 151-7 F-CPU for safety-related purposes are made to withstand the demands of the lower performance range, specifically for the ET 200S. The safety ET 200S I/O modules allow them to be expanded in a centralised configuration, or they can be disseminated via PROFIBUS or PROFINET. It is possible to utilise the SIPLUS extreme ET 200S station stand-alone, that is, without a PROFIBUS or PROFINET connection.

Both modules comply with safety requirements up to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508, IEC 62061 and Cat. 4 according to EN 954-1.
SIPLUS extreme ET 200S IM151-7/-8 are available as

  • Conformal coating version with temperature extension from -25°C to 60°C

LOGO! Logic module

Siemens’ clever logic module, LOGO!, boasts little wiring, simple installation, and simple programming. Small-scale automation projects are a great fit for the logo control system, which also simplifies life by readily replacing protective relays, counters, and time switches and relays. See for yourself the advantages of this exclusive turnkey logic module control solution for your logo.

In addition to the outstanding features of LOGO!, the refined SIPLUS extreme variants offer:

  • Protection from medial impact (aggressive chemical, biological and mechanically active gases and salt mist) and condensation
  • Protected from condensation (ice formation is allowed!)
  • High reliability across an extended temperature range in the start-up phase as well as during operation
  • Saving costs, since no additional heating or cooling is required
  • High productivity and investment protection through minimal downtimes and performance losses
